Compact FBI PIV Certified Live Scanner with Live Finger Detection |

Suprema is excited to announce the introduction of
RealScan-G1. This compact fingerprint live scanner
with FBI PIV certification and live finger detection is
ideal for government and commercial applications
including national ID, immigration, healthcare, ecommerce
and banking.
Suprema's unique 'hybrid type' live finger detection
(LFD) technology" is based on the fact that dynamic
image characteristics of fake fingers can clearly be
distinguished from those of live fingers using an
advanced analysis algorithm to catch the abnormalities
in the dynamic changing pattern of fingerprint images
and static features such as ridge patterns and local
intensity distribution.
On the hardware side RealScan-G1 features an IP54 certified rugged structure which provides
extra durability under harsh conditions, captures 500dpi greyscale images and has a wide platen
(1.0 x 1.0 inch) for easier capturing. It has a USB2.0 interface for its power supply and data
transfer. Weighing only 0.18kg, RealScan-G1 is compactly sized to fit into kiosks and mobile kits.
RealScan-G1 has recently won a number of government projects in USA, China, India and Brazil.
