Elevator Access Control I/O Module
 
  An interesting addition to Suprema’s access control accessories is the Lift I/O, an elevator access control I/O module. This is the perfect tool for installations that desire restrictive access to specific floors. All that is required is a Suprema reader, BioStar SE and a Lift I/O.

Each module has the capability of controlling access to up to 12 different floors and uses an RS-485 port to provide secure communication to the readers. Furthermore, each reader can
connect via daisy chain with up to 10 Lift I/O’s, allowing for the potential control of a staggering 120 floors.

Access to each floor is also highly customizable through the BioStar SE software which allows you
to configure each Lift I/O to control the access to certain floors as well as to assign access rights to each floor by user or group.

The Lift I/O for elevator access control is currently available for Xpass and Xpass Slim and will be
available for BioEntry Plus later this year.
